 Available March-April 2004! The Z5 is Black Widow's flagship model offering the convenience of remote start and the protection of a full-featured security system. The Z5 has been reengineered using the latest component technology and is compatible with any type of vehicle.The Z5 is comprised of a Security module with on-board Door Lock and Flashing Parking Light relays. Compact in size, the Z5 offers multiple programmable feature options to give your customer all of the security and convenience they may desire. Many features can be turned on or off with your remote: Passive arming, Valet mode, Silent Arming/ Disarming, and Shock Sensor bypass just to mention a few. The Z5 Security module utilizes an on-board State-of-the-Art impact sensor to detect only real attacks to the vehicle. The impact sensor will trigger a warning if the threat is slight or a full out 15-second alert if the vehicle is attacked. The sensor’s sensitivity can be easily adjusted via remote. The Z5 System also includes a Start Module with 4 on-board relays. One of the industry’s smallest, it communicates with the Security module through a data cable included in the system to avoid redundancy during installation. Remote Transmitters: The Z5 comes with one BWS T 5 and one BWS T 4 transmitter. The BWST4 is a 1-way 4-button, water resistant transmitter and has a range of up to 1000 feet. The Z5 will learn up to 4 transmitters per system (2-way or 1-way).
